The charging parameters of the controller are fully customisable, meaning the Victron MPPT RS family of controllers can be used with all common battery types, including lead-acid (flooded, gel, AGM), lithium-ion, and LiFePO4. The Victron MPPT RS 450|200-Tr(-MC4) & MPPT RS 450|100-Tr are ideally suited for the most common 48 V LiFePO4 batteries used in homes and industry, and pairs well with the AQ-LITH EnergyBox and EnergyRack batteries we use.
