Overview and applications
The Victron GX LTE 4G-Е is a cellular modem that works with all Victron GX devices, including the Cerbo GX, to provide an Internet connection for remote systems, allowing access to the VRM (Victron Remote Management) portal:
The device can also be equipped with an optional active GPS antenna, which allows users to monitor the location of their system or enable geofencing in VRM.
The Victron GX LTE 4G-Е is robust and very flexible thanks to its wide operating temperature range (-40 °C to +50 °C) and input voltage (8 - 70 VDC).
Notes on software and hardware compatibility
Please ensure that your GX device is updated to the latest firmware, as the Victron GX LTE 4G-Е requires Venus OS v2.60 or newer in order to work.
The GX LTE 4G-Е uses the SIMCom SIM7600E chipset and supports both 1.8 V and 3 V Mini-SIM format SIM cards.

If necessary, the device can be equipped with the following optional accessories:
Outdoor LTE antenna (P/N GSM900100400)
Active GPS Antenna for GX GSM (P/N GSM900200100)
Alternative options
Venus OS, the operating system running on Victron GX devices, can also work with some third-party 4G USB modems, but compatibility is not guaranteed.
One of the certified devices is the Netgear AC1200 USB 4G modem, also sold by Victron (P/N BPP900200400).
