In addition to six fuse sockets, the product has a busbar connecting five of the terminals.

The busbar is made of tinned copper with a cross-section of 3x18 mm and is suitable for voltages up to 70 VDC and can handle up to 250 A of current.

The terminals and nuts are made of galvanized steel and have an M8 thread.

The body is made of black fire-resistant ABS plastic (UL 94 V-0) and the protective cover is made of transparent, fire-resistant polycarbonate (UL 94 HB).

Application

The Victron Fuse holder 6-way for MEGA fuse is suitable for smaller systems with a battery current of up to 250 A.

For systems with more batteries and a current of up to 1000 A, please see the Victron Lynx range of products, in particular the Lynx Distributor.

Notes on installation

For batteries with a voltage of 12 and 24 V, you can use 32 V MEGA fuses, and for 48 V batteries, please use the 58 V version.

The MEGA Fuse high-current fuses from Victron have a transparent side panel, which, in combination with the transparent protective cover of the holder, makes it easy and quick to diagnose a blown fuse.

When connecting the batteries, please use cables of the same type, equal cross-section and length, and identical cable lugs.

Tighten with a torque wrench to 7 Nm.
